Taylor Long is a composer, producer and sound designer currently working in Los Angeles, California. His high-impact music and sound design can be heard in numerous movie trailers for films like The Expendables 2, Immortals, Cowboys And Aliens, The Grey, and Transformers: Dark of the Moon. As well as television shows and documentaries worldwide.
Utilizing a diverse music background, from drummer to songwriter, to create what some have called - "atmospheric, sultry..", "high octane", and "music to rob a bank to". From heavy electronic beats and beds to a subtle string tension, his love for cinematic music led him to pursue a career in Film and Video Game composition in 2007.
Combining organic sources and synthesized processing, many of Taylor's sounds are created from objects in everyday life. Twisted beyond recognition into something unique, blended with orchestral and other acoustic instruments, synthesizers, and a healthy dose of production voodoo to create a truly hybrid sound.
